On July 4, 2025 the Gillespie County Democratic Party organized a float for the Fredericksburg annual parade. We were pleased to welcome many Democratic candidates: Vicki Goodwin (Lt. Gov), Sarah Eckhardt (Comptroller), Holly Taylor (Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 9), Dr. Kristin Hook (US Congress Texas CD21), Joe Paz Herrera (Texas State Senate D24), and Tom Luck (Texas State House D19). The parade was followed by a picnic hosted by the Gillespie County Democratic Association.
